"We believe that color is anamant, that it is alive, it is spiritual. The color pink (native) in our language is an integral part of each day, meaning that in the sunrise we see that line, bringing up that new day, and then when the day closes there's that beautiful color, pink, to represent the end of that beautiful day that we hold sacred. We asked the color to bless our women and our children. We asked that color to give us healing and you could tell there was a spirit among us that, that just overwhelmed does a lot of the women."
