"It was the biggest shock of my life. I had a little denial. I had a little fear. I had a little everything. It was quite scary. I was in the hospital, and they just have a lot of tests for you to go through just to make sure that they've given you the right diagnosis. Of course it all proved to be ovarian cancer. And just the word cancer is scary, and when they define it to your ovaries, it's even scarier. You just, or I did I just knew that they were doing the best that they could, but your fear of the word, and the final diagnosis, it kind of blocked out a lot of things. But, it was a lot of fear at first."
