"1991, and early that year in March I was in Minneapolis, and noticed at that time that there wasn't something right with me. I didn't feel sick, but I felt different. I couldn't describe it but I felt different.
I remember telling my sister that, and we talked about it. There wasn't anything that would send me to a doctor at that point, so from March to June I didn't do anything. In June, we started taking walks every evening. Some friends of mine, a mile, two mile, three mile walk along the river front, and I noticed at that time I would get tired easy. That was uncommon for me because I've always had this boundless energy. I didn't know what was going on. The bottom of my feet were real tender, and I've never had blisters, nothing."
