Sessions will explore the meaning of "Best" and "Promising" Practices and the implications in Indian Country.

- Example of Successful Ceremonial Tobacco Programs
- Example of Successful AIAN Tobacco Youth Programs
Intended Participants: People working with American Indian tobacco control programs in local tribal, urban, regional, or national communities, and people living with health disparities in Colorado and throughout the nation.
The fee for the Best and Promising Practices Meeting is $ 75.00 per person.
Scholarships are available.

The Best and Promising Practices Meeting will be held at the Red Lion Hotel Denver Central, 4040 Quebec Street, Denver, CO. Room rates for the conference are at a special rate of $99 per night. The cut off date for the rooms is February 5, 2008. The reservation number is 1-800-733-5466 or 303-321-6666. The meeting will be 1½ days and will end at noon on Friday. Breakfast both days and lunch on Thursday will be included in the registration fee.
