The Seventh Annual Conference for Young Women Affected by Breast Cancer:

This one-of-a-kind national and international educational program will be held the weekend of February 23-25, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia. The conference focuses on delivering the most current information to address the unique needs and issues faced by pre-menopausal women and families affected by breast cancer. This event features educational programming and networking opportunities focused on every phase of a young woman's breast cancer journey: from those recently diagnosed, to those currently in treatment, women living with advanced breast cancer and those who are post-treatment and living years beyond this serious disease. Caregivers are also encouraged to attend special sessions developed to meet their unique needs.

Living Beyond Breast Cancer and the Young Survival Coalition want you to know that we have travel scholarships available for young women affected by breast cancer who may be connected to your organization or group. They want to provide access to the educational information, networking, community, and hope that the 7th Annual Conference for Young Women Affected by Breast Cancer has to offer to young women, their partners, family members and healthcare providers. Both organizations presenting this conference are committed to increasing the diversity of conference participants by geography, race, ethnicity and lifestyle. They are reaching out to you to help them achieve that goal and reduce barriers to this much-needed information and fulfill the desire for young women and their families to connect with others in a similar circumstance.

Please visit the dedicated website at http://www.youngsurvivorsconference.org . The 2007 program agenda is posted and updated regularly so check back often for new information. *Scholarship applications and registration details can be found on the website.

Please help us spread the word about this conference and the scholarships available to assist those that desire to attend! You can help by:

  • Posting information about the conference and a link to the conference webpage on your website: http://www.youngsurvivorsconference.org
  • Forwarding our pre-designed email to your networks and contacts, post the information on your message board. We will gladly forward the text upon your request.
  • Distributing conference brochures. Upon your call or email we will send the proper amount to the address you request.
  • Or use another innovative method and tell us about it!
Please inform your constituents or members of the travel scholarships available for women who may benefit from attending this program. The scholarship application form is conveniently available on the conference website at http://www.youngsurvivorsconference.org/scholarship_info.html. Funding is limited, so an early application will offer the greatest opportunity for travel support. We encourage all women who experience financial hardship to apply.

Let us know how you plan to assist us. We will acknowledge all groups who help promote the conference and the scholarship opportunity in a future newsletter issue, so we look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for considering our request. Please do not hesitate to contact any one of us for more information and again, let us know how you are able to assist our outreach efforts.
